Water Lily

  Water Lily is beautiful! This is one of the most beautiful plants. White lily of old was considered a symbol of beauty, purity and charity. Lily-nymphea also called the "Sun Child": its beautiful flowers are disclosed in the morning and close at dusk.

 

    Scandinavian legends say that each one has its own water lily-friend - an elf who is born with it and dies with it too. According to popular belief, nymphs with little elves live in its flowers and on the its leaves. Leaves and flowers are boats for these little elves.
